As part of our anniversary commemorative activities, we have created an online physics glossary. This glossary contains Japanese-English translations for approximately 15,000 basic physics terms. We hope it will be useful not only for international students studying physics in Japan and foreign researchers conducting research here, but also for Japanese researchers who feel uncertain about the inconsistent academic terminology found online, as well as Japanese students who are unsure about English translations. Before making this widely available to the public, we would like to give the JPS members a six-month period to review it and point out any errors. Therefore, we kindly ask that you visit the site and try using the glossary. If you discover any issues, please submit your comments via the “Feedback & Inquiries” banner. We plan to make the glossary publicly available in October. We appreciate your cooperation.
